Netflix Is Bringing Your Favorite Cartoon Back

Netflix has renewed comedian Bill Burr’s animated comedy, F Is For Family, for a second season.

Burr revealed the news on Twitter yesterday with an expletive-filled, celebratory video. In a later tweet, Burr added Season 2 will contain ten episodes — four more than its six-episode first season.

Created by Burr and Michael Price (The Simpsons), the series follows the dysfunctional Murphy family in the 1970’s, “a time when you could smack your kid, smoke inside, and bring a gun to the airport.” Burr voices the father, Frank Murphy; Laura Dern voices Frank’s wife, Sue; and Justin Long voices the family’s oldest son, Kevin.
